Wayne Hills Youth (W.H.Y.)

Wayne Hills Youth shares in the vision and mission of Wayne Hills Baptist Church as an extension of the local church and the Christian family. We partner with parents to equip them as they disciple their students to know the Lord and love others. Our goal is to ground students in God's Word so they may grow in maturity into Godly men and women.

What is a Healthy Student Ministry?

In many ways, a healthy student ministry has the same priorities as a healthy local church: a commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a devotion to God's Word in proclamation and function, and a desire to love others by serving them.

Student ministries are not a substitute for church; rather, it is an extension of the local church and the Christian family. Our commitment at WHBC is to partner with parents by equipping them to disciple their students.

A normal Sunday Evening looks like...

Free time--a chance for our students to fellowship, hang out, and participate in a game/icebreaker.
Study and Worship--a time to hear/discuss a lesson from God's Word, and worship Him in song.
Small Groups--an opportunity to reflect on the lesson and further discuss/apply the truths learned.
